Axeb Biotech received an honorable mention in the category of Business Career ANCES National Awards. AXEB Biotech is an emerging company involved in R&D to give solution to agricultural community to improve plant health and enhance crop yield and conditioning of soil by the use of innovative biostimulants, plant nutrition products, specialized fertilizers and adjuvants.
The National Association of Spanish CEEIs (ANCES) presented its annual EIBT awards to the best Technological-based Innovative Companies, within the framework of the 4th European Forum for Science, Technology and Innovation TRANSFIERE. These awards, awarded by ANCES, which celebrate its fifth edition, select and reward innovative companies based on technology that stand out for their activity and evolution in the market, distinguishing two categories: Creation and Trajectory.
Axeb Biotech Company, based in Lleida Agri-Food Science and Technology Park , has won the second prize of National Award for his stroke, the National Association of BIC given annually to innovative technology companies (EIBT). Axeb Biotech has been called EIBT from 2011, 2012 and 2013.
The jury was composed of representatives of the National Innovation Company (ENISA), the Center for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI), the business schools IESE and ESADE; And by the Board of Directors of ANCES. This award recognizes the trend in turnover, staff, level of innovation and participation in international projects based on technology. Currently, the company runs a subprogram INNPACTO 2011, the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness nanoencapsulated bioactive compounds for agriculture.
Ricard Casals, the manager of the company, received the award presented by Maria Luisa Brown, Chief Innovation and Competitiveness in the framework of the Conference on Innovative Technology-Based Firms, held in Madrid.
The EIBT brand, led by the National Association of Spanish CEEIs (ANCES) and supported by the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade, recognizes those companies that operate in some of the high technology sectors, which invest in higher R&D To the average and also have an innovative product. The EIBT project, started in 2001, has worked to boost the technological fabric of the province, to promote employment through the creation of companies that generate added value, promoting the EIBT brand and spreading its concept.
