Axeb task in Agrocycle project is to develop new biofertilisers from urban and crop residues and evaluate their effectiveness and impact in soil. Our company will start working on April to obtain these new products, and they are expected to be tested in autumn 2017.
AgroCycle is a Sino-EU collaborative research venture, with 26 partners from across the EU, China and Hong Kong. The project is funded by the European Commission under its Horizon 2020 programme (€7 million).
The project takes a holistic approach to understanding and addressing how to make best use of the full range of waste streams associated with the agri-food industry. It will deliver the AgroCycle Protocol, a blueprint for achieving sustainable agri-food waste valorisation.
